Who Can Join?
Membership is open to all individuals who wish to support equality. Feminism advocates for equal rights regardless of
gender, race, sexual identity, disability or any other socially imposed classification. Membership in Juneau NOW is assigned
automatically when you join the National Organization for Women.
Benefits of Joining
Membership is required to vote or run for office at the local, state or national level. Members of Juneau NOW may elect
to receive periodic updates via our list server. As a member of the National Organization of Women, you join with over half
a million other feminists who support advocacy and education to improve public opinion and policy on issues including reproductive
freedom, freedom to marry, freedom from war and other violence, and a host of other issues of just and equitable treatment.
